Author Interviews 2020 had the pleasure of interviewing the authors, Ben Jackson, and Sam Lawrence.
About the Author:
Ben Jackson was born in Tasmania, Australia and is a successful indie author that has been writing for over four years. Ben is married to Sam Lawrence, and together they specialize in self-publishing children's books. They have been married for several years and have traveled together between Australia and Canada. Ben is also a freelance writer that specializes in writing website content for businesses and a wide variety of different articles. They have published a series of children's books called My Little Fart, as well as If I Was A Caterpillar and several other non-fiction books. Author Interview:
1. What is your name? Introduce yourself to readers and fellow authors. What is your title (Author, poet, novelist, etc.?)
Hi, my name is Ben Jackson, and together with my wife Sam Lawrence, we publish a series of children’s books and young adult chapter readers.
We have two main series, The Little Fart and Hockey Wars. We have been publishing and creating children’s books for over five years and have several books on Amazon’s best seller’s list.
My wife is Canadian, and I’m Australian. Together, we travel around the world and create and publish our children’s books. We have writer several ongoing children’s book series, but we also write stand-alone adventures and stories.
2. What is the title of your upcoming book, project, or new release?
Our latest book is Don’t Fart In The Pool! It’s available on Amazon Pre-Order now, and the release date is set for 6th July 2020.

4. Have you won any awards, certificates, stickers, or honor or recognition for your work? If so, what awards, and what is the title?
We won a silver medal for The Day My Fart Followed Me To Hockey on Reader’s Favorites in the children’s book illustration category.
5. What are your hobbies when you’re not writing?
When we aren’t writing, we enjoy walking and generally traveling around and enjoying everything that our local communities have to offer. Despite the current restrictions, we’re still doing our best to support local businesses.
6. Do you have any articles, columns, short stories, or poetry published in anthologies? If so, what is the title of your works? What is the title of the anthology?
We haven’t participated in any anthologies at this time, but it would be something that we’d be interested in!
7. What are your feature, dreams, and plans in terms of being a writer?
One day it would be nice to retire to a tropical island and just write! That’s a long way in the future, but something beautiful to dream about!
