Author Interviews 2020 had the pleasure of interviewing the non-conformist writer, Jimmy Tan.
About the Author:
Jimmy Tan San Tek is a non-conformist writer, editor, editorial trainer, photographer and videographer. He majored in English Language and Geography in National University of Singapore (NUS), and he has worked as an editor for about 20 years in the educational publishing industry.
Jimmy is the author of Nature Sketch: A Poem about the Twelve Apostles in Victoria, Australia. He is also the co-author of three other English Literature books; namely, Sugarcubes & Cupcakes, Hanaan: Love on the Rocks Series 2 and Inspiring Authors: A Selection of Poetry. 1. What is your name? Introduce yourself to readers and fellow authors. What is your title (author, poet, novelist, etc?)
My name is Jimmy Tan San Tek. I am a non-conformist writer, editor, editorial trainer, photographer and videographer.
2. What is the title of your upcoming book, project, or new release?
My upcoming book is "Cultivate Your Mind, Body, Soul, and Health" Anthology.

4. Have you won any awards, certificates, stickers, or honor or recognition for your work? If so, what awards and what is the title?
No.
5. What are your hobbies when you’re not writing?
Cycling, hiking, photography, yoga, listening to music.
6. Do you have any articles, columns, short stories, or poetry published in anthologies? If so, what is the title of your works? What is the title of the anthology?
Yes, I have a poem published in the anthology “Inspiring Authors - A Selection of Poetry”, which I co-authored with six other poets.
7. What are your feature dreams and plans in terms of being a writer?
In terms of being a writer, my dream is to inspire and add value to people’s lives. I also plan to continue using my voice to address social and environmental issues by advocating peace, justice, equality and sustainability.
